Torga designs and manufactures over 250 new eyewear styles each year. The name Torga derives from a well-known African name meaning happiness and magic. OUR LENS LABORATORY
Torga Optical's own lens factory is ISO-9001 accredited and manufactures a wide range of prescription lenses using German precision technology, including Flexivue digital multifocal progressive multifocal lenses, bifocals, and prescription polarized lenses, as well as anti-glare, anti-scratch and blue light blocking coatings. We also manufacture high-curve prescription lenses for sports eyewear and a range of photochromic lenses including Torga's Flexi-Tint lenses, which darken when exposed to light, and Transitions lenses.
